Rookie mistake?

Well, this is my first post of the new year. I'm gonna try to be better at it this year. I have so many new year's resolutions and most I have already dropped...
First one, finishing more of my UFOs. Yeah, haven't done that and to make it worse, I have cast on for 2 different projects. A shawl that I cast on for about a week ago. And tonight, I cast on for a sweater. And I suppose it might be knitting karma that I already mucked up on it. Not badly though. But I intended to knit this one on size 7 needles, but with "all my swatching" and the interchangeable denise needle set, I accidently cast on on size 6 needles. So it's nothing major. I was only on the 2nd row when I found out, so I just clicked on the correct needle. Knitting crime, maybe. But this is yet another project that can't trap my soul, haha.
I was gonna try to be more tidy and it worked for a week and a half. (That is a long time for me) But I can feel it slipping away...
Yeah, 2008 and I am still a mess. O well, I have been one for 31 years, I've learned to live with it.

And now, on to more knitting :)

You know most patterns call for casting on ribbing and the like with smaller needles so the edge won't flip. See you later today!
